We are not holding housing surgeries at the current time due to adhering to social distancing measures. However, if you have an urgent housing need and require help to register, you can still request help with this by contacting us to go through the application over the phone. You will still be required to provide us with document proofs such as ID, proof of address etc.

Social housing in East Lindsey consists of homes owned and managed by Social Housing Providers (Housing Associations). There are no council owned properties in East Lindsey.
The management of the housing register transferred back to this council on 1st October 2019 and changes have been made to who is eligible to join the housing register. If you do not have a connection to East Lindsey, you might not be eligible. Further details can be found within the Housing Allocations Policy.

There are no set 'bidding cycle' days that properties will be advertised. Adverts will be added any day Monday to Friday as and when they come up and will run for a minimum of four days. Therefore we would advise all applicants to check the system twice a week to ensure you do not miss out on properties advertised.
Applicants will not be able to start bidding for properties until all document proofs have been received within 28 days of the application being made and then verified by the housing register team.
If you are a current Housing Association or Council tenant looking to move property or area, you may wish to look into a mutual exchange through websites such as HomeSwapper but you should speak to your housing provider for advice first.
