Once a request in writing has been made to the Returning Officer by TWO valid electors for the vacancy(ies) to be filled by means of election. A Notice of Election will be displayed (see below for any scheduled Elections).
Nomination papers must then be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer, East Lindsey District Council, The Hub, Mareham Road, Horncastle, LN9 6PH between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm on any day after the date of the Notice of Election (excluding Bank Holidays) but no later than 4pm on the 19th working day before the poll.
It will be necessary for candidates to make an appointment with the Returning Officer in order that their nomination can be handed in by the deadline. Any request for an appointment should be made via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01507 601111.
