Building Control

Welcome to the Lincs Building Consultancy web pages. We deliver the Building Control service for East Lindsey District Council.
We realise that Building Regulations can sometimes be confusing and complex, and therefore we have produced these handy guides to help you to make sure your work complies with the Building Regulations:-
A valid Building Regulations application must be made before the start of any building work. This may take the form of a Full Plans application, or in certain cases a Building Notice. In either case the correct fee must be included before the application can be validated.
e-building control lets you submit your Building Regulations application online. You can also track the progress of your building regulation application, access copies of Building Notice acknowledgements, Full Plans Decision Notices and Completion Certificates.

When notified of potentially dangerous structures we will carry out an investigation. Surveyors are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to deal with any incident relating to a dangerous building or structure, and they are able to give advice on the course of action that may be necessary to make the building or structure safe.
